Hello Card using distress markers

Hey everyone,

I made this card using my Tim Holtz distress markers, the Starburst Lace stamp by Hero Arts and the Hero Arts and Sizzix Stamp & Die Cut set.  I coloured it using the scattered straw, seeded mustard, wild honey, peeled paint and rusty hinge markers.  I then wet it and used my new fine tip water brush to do a little blending of the colours.  I think these markers are going to be fun to play with!  I am really pleased with this Starburst Lace stamp too – I can imagine creating lots of backgrounds with this stamp and love how easy it was to use and stamp to give an ‘extra’ layer to my card without the extra layer, if that makes sense :)  I don’t normally use a lot of yellow in my projects but yellow and grey seem to be around a bit as a colour combination, so I thought I would try something a little different for me and I am really glad I did.  You may be seeing some more yellow and grey from me yet!!!

Hope you had a good weekend,

Bye for now

Kristy
