Here is another copic marker card featuring the very cute ‘Sweet Dreams Marci’. Although it is hard to tell because the cards aren’t next to each other I have coloured Marci’s skin using E21, E50 and E51 which gives her a slightly more yellowish tone than my favourite skin colour combo of E000, E00 and E01 but it is still lovely. It also seems to tone in with the patterned paper pretty well too. Her hair took a bit of work but I am really happy with how it turned out in the end.
Paper Trimmer, Scissors, Double sided tape, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Memento Rich Cocoa Ink, X-press It blending card, Stamps – La La Land Stamp Sweet Dreams Marci, Hero Arts – Friends Clear Set, Paper – Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth Collection, Fabric Tracing Wheel, Twine, Paper Flowers, Brown Bazzill card, Copic Markers E50, E51, E21, R20, E71, E77, E79, C0, C1, C2, C3, R59, R89, R85
I first stamped Sweet Dreams Marci onto blending card using tuxedo black ink and then coloured using the copic markers listed above. I trimmed the paper and then inked the edges with rich cocoa ink. I trimmed the patterned paper to size and then created the faux stitching by using a fabric tracing wheel and inking it, then running it over the paper. I stamped the Hero Arts Stamp ‘everything is better with a friend’ using rich cocoa ink. Everything was adhered together using double sided tape. A twine bow and some paper blooms finished the card.
