Kaisercraft Silly Season Christmas Card

Here is a pic of a Christmas card I made out of Kaisercrafts Silly Season Collection.  I used my postage edge punch from Fiskars and dashed lines punch from Fiskars, which I think is called In Stitches.  It gives a great effect and framed the card really nicely.  I quite like using it on my scrapbook pages also.

Supplies List

Paper Trimmer, Scissors, Foam Adhesive, Double sided tape, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, X-press It blending card, Distress Ink – ,  Distressing Tool, Stamps – Merry Christmas by Stamp It  , Paper – Kaisercraft Silly Season collection, silver paper, white cardstock, Fiskars Border Punches – Postage edge and In Stitches (will have to double check on the name of this punch)

Method

I first cut out the christmas trees from the patterned paper.  I layered the larger tree onto silver paper and then trimmed this also.  The silver border just helps the tree stand out from the background.  I cut the light green patterned paper to size and punched with the Fiskars dashed line border punch.  I trimmed the silver strip and the pink strips of paper and then used the postage edge punch on the pink patterned paper.  I stamped Merry Christmas using tuxedo black ink and then distressed along the top edge.  I also distressed along the edge of the silver paper and then adhered the papers to the card front as shown in the photo.  Foam adhesive was used to adhere the christmas trees to finish the card.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Until next time,

Kristy
