Here is a baby card I made using my prismacolour pencils to colour in this cute image by Stamp It.
Supplies: Paper trimmer, scissors, double sided tape, foam adhesive, distress inks – worn lipstick, antique linen and spun sugar, foam blending tool, Kindy Glitz – crystalina, Prismacolour pencils, Patterned paper – Baby Steps 6×6 paper pad, White card, Stamps – “I’m Here” by Stamp It, Essential Messages clear set by Hero Arts, Nestabilities Scalloped Ovals and Ovals sets, Archival Ink – Jet Black, fabric tracing wheel.
Method: I stamped the “I’m Here” stamp by Stamp It onto normal white card and then coloured using prismacolour coloured pencils. I cut out the image using my oval nestabilities and then inked the edges with antique linen distress ink. I then added glitter to the nappy and left it to dry. I cut a scalloped oval out of normal card then used my worn lipstick distress ink pad directly onto the card to change it to pink. I set this aside. I trimmed the background paper and inked the edges with antique linen distress ink and used my fabric tracing wheel and ink to create faux stitching. I cut a strip of white card and used my foam blending tool with spun sugar distress ink to change it to light pink. I stamped congrats in black ink and then made it into a banner as shown. The pieces were then adhered to the card base as shown. Some pearls finished the card.
