Lil Primrose Diva Card

Hi all,

Here is a card that is a little outside of my normal style but I wanted to use some of the  Kaisercraft lil primrose collectables.  These are great for using as the focal image on your cards, or as an embellishment, plus you get to use different images than you might normally.

Supplies: Paper trimmer, scissors, pearls, ribbon, double sided tape, foam adhesive, foam blending tool, distress inks – antique linen and tattered rose, liquid pearls – opal white, Patterned Paper – Kaisercraft Lil Primrose Collection 6×6 paper pad, Lil Primrose Collectables, Sewing Machine and thread, Bazzill cardstock, Studio Calico Mister Huey’s Mist – Calico Shine.

Method:  I inked the edges of the sentiment piece with antique linen.  I used liquid pearls to cover the pearl shapes on the shoe image and set this aside to dry.  This product is a really lovely product and just takes a little to get used to to get the right amount to come out (remember to flick the paper from underneath to get the rounded top rather than little peaks just don’t flick too hard)I cut the patterned papers and inked the edges with distress inks.  I then spritzed the pink striped paper with the calico shine (I am in love with this product at the moment) which gives a gorgeous shimmer which the photo doesn’t show.  After the paper had dried I sewed around the edges with the sewing machine and adhered the card together as shown, with the ribbon and pearls to add also.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  If you have any questions or comments feel free to let me know.  I am happy to hear from you and don’t mind answering questions.

Kristy
