Here is a card I made using the very cute Lil Rocker Luka and the gorgeous MME Fly a Kite Paper. I just love this bright and colourful paper. I took the inspiration from this card from the front of the paper pack. This strips of patterned paper with the black edging just looked really good I think.
Supplies: Paper Trimmer, foam adhesive, double sided tape, Patterned Paper – MME Fly a Kite 6×6 paper pad, White cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Prismacolour pencils, Adorn It letter stickers, Felt number sticker, Sassafrass Lass balloon chipboard, Spellbinders Nestabiliites – Lacey Squares, Copic Multiliner 0.3, chalk pastels.
Method: I stamped Lil Rocker Luka with black ink onto normal white cardstock and coloured with prismacolour pencils. This was my first go at colouring an image like this with my pencils. I had a bit of trouble trying to get the hair right but I am sure I will get better with practice. I used the largest lacey squares die to cut the image out. I created the ski using chalk pastels whilst leaving the die around the image. I removed the die and then drew the border with my black multiliner. I adhered the letters and number. I trimmed the patterned papers to size, inked the edges with black ink and adhered to the card base. The lacey square was then stuck to the card front using foam adhesive and then the balloon chipboard was the finishing touch.
