Todays card features a copic marker background on acetate. You can have loads of fun experimenting with copic markers to create backgrounds (just make sure you have ink refills if you are going to do this a lot, keeping in mind that backgrounds on acetate will use less ink than paper as the paper absorbs the ink and the acetate does not) You can create backgrounds by colouring in layers of colour like todays card. You can get a little bit of blending but not like you can achieve on paper. I think these backgrounds look really striking with white textured cardstock but also could look great with newsprint or text backgrounds. I stamped the flowers on the front on the acetate after the background had dried. The rest of the card was fairly simple with washi tape used to create the look of patterned paper on the card base.
So have FUN and EXPERIMENT with colours, effects, using alcohol gels, different Stazon inks and stamping on acetate!
