Fairie Marci Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

My little girl has recently turned 7!  She likes La La Land Stamps and so I chose Fairie Marci to colour for her birthday card.  I also decided to make an clear card just for something different.  I also used my cricut to cut out one of the frames from the Fancy Frames cartridge and then just spritzed the frame with Calico Shine because what little girl doesn’t like a little shimmer.  A bit of glitter was added to the wings, the tiara, the jewel and some parts of the clothing using my pink and clear Atyou Spica pens, but you can’t really see that in the photo.  This card also uses the tip technique using my colourless blender.  It works a lot better when there is enough ink in your blender though 🙂  Always good to learn new things!! So since I experimented with this technique again I decided to enter it into the Copic Oz challenge for this month – you can check out the Copic Oz blog here.  Originally the dress of the fairie was coloured in RV02 and Rv04 but I wasn’t happy with the colour for this card (and I didn’t have any paper that matched!) so I just coloured over it using RV23 and Rv29.  Hope you had time for some creating over the weekend.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kristy.
