A Boy’s Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

My youngest boy is turning 2 so I have made him a birthday card.  My baby is not really a baby anymore!  It is a pretty simple card made using the Echo Park A Boy’s Life 6×6 paper pad, some sizzix star die cuts, an Amy Tangerine paper flower and the Penny Black stamp bold b’day.  I think I have probably mentioned before that Echo Park tend to make great collections for making cards or scrapbooking for boys or men, so I always keep a look out for them as I have 2 boys now. The blog posts have been a little irregular lately as I have been on holidays but I am planning to settle back into my couple of posts per week soon.

Hope you had a good weekend.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kristy

Supplies: Echo Park 6×6 paper pad A boy’s Life, Amy Tangerine paper flowers, Sizzix primitive stars, Penny Black Stamps – Bold b’day, Archival Ink – Jet Black, Black Copic Multiliner 0.3, White card stock, Fiskars Postage Edge Punch.

  1. The star is wonderful and the rosette in the center really finishes it well. I have the same Sizzix die. You have given me some ideas.

    • Thanks Angela. I was really happy when I saw the rosette – it was just sitting in my tote bag – love it when that happens and I don’t have to go searching through my stuff!
