Hi everyone,
I had some time to play with the Save the Date Collection over the weekend and decided to participate in Kaisercraft’s Saturday Sketch (You can check out the specific post about it out on the Kaisercraft blog here). I had some photos of my daughters birthday and so wanted to scrapbook those and this collection fitted really well. I think I will do another layout to sit next to it in my daughters album that will include a lot of printed journalling so that I can tell the story more, ie who were the guests etc but don’t think I will post that on the blog though as I think I would rather keep those details private. I changed the sketch a bit and added two photos rather than one as I couldn’t pick which photo to use! I like the bright colours of this collection and can see it would be easy to make a bunch of birthday cards using it so you will probably be seeing them soon :). Oh and if you like pinwheels the Kaisercraft Blog has a tutorial for making your own (the one I used on my layout already came pre-cut).
Hope you had time for some playing with paper over the weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.
Kristy
