It was Father’s Day in Australia just over a month ago and I decided to make my husband a little love notes book like I have made the kids. The older 2 kids wrote him a little note and we put it inside the envelopes for him to read. He likes things to be pretty simple so the design is very simple and I have used some Classic Calico papers, letter stickers and the little wood veneer Potty People. The heart die I used was from Memory Box.
For the pages inside the covers, I have used some botanical envelopes (a bit similar to kraft coloured paper) and used a brown ink pad to ink up my children’s hands and ‘stamped’ them on the envelope. I used some Kaisercraft tiny alphabet stickers to write the names of my children. On the envelope that I made to put notes from me, I just used some brown ink and The Crafters Workshop Mini Mix and Match hearts stencil to decorate it (I felt my hand would be a bit too big to ‘stamp’ on the envelope). If you have a question, please leave me a comment and I will be sure to answer it.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Bye for now,
