Today’s card is another Thank You card for my daughter’s teacher. She has two teachers, as does my son so I still have another couple of Thank You cards to show. This background was also made using glimmer mist, although I can’t remember the colours since I made it awhile ago. It is actually the same piece of paper as the last card, except that for the other background I changed it by spraying over it with completely different glimmermist colours and then did some stamping and inking.
For this card I stamped around the edges using a clear stamp from the MME The Sweetest Thing stamp set using Dusty Concord Distress Ink. I also stamped the script background stamp using Versacolour Silver Ink. I cut the centre piece out of white card and then inked it with Seedless Preserves and Dusty Concord inks and sprayed with pearlised water. This meant the colours blended really nicely. Brushed Pewter Distress Stain was applied to the Kaisercraft wooden butterfly and I used some more of the Jillibean Soup Alphabean letter stickers.
Stef has now started a blog and you can see more of my work over on her blog. Sometimes I will post projects on both blogs but mostly things will be different.
Hope you had a great weekend and thanks for stopping by,
