Penny Black ‘Kisses’ Card

Hi everyone,

In amongst the chaos of December, I made this card using the Penny Black stamp ‘Kisses’.  This stamp is just so cute and she was really fun to colour.  I actually looked up the stamp on Google and had a look at how different people had coloured her.  I really liked the way the stamp was coloured in this card, so decided to use that as a bit of a template for colouring my own image. I have added some rock candy distress stickles over the top of the shoes, the ruffles and the sash.  I have used some ornate corners from Dusty Attic and some assorted flowers.  I made this card under a bit of time pressure so I wasn’t entirely happy with it as I feel it has ended up a little ‘heavy’ and not quite as balanced as I would like. However I am still relatively happy with it and I think the person who received it would have been happy too.

I will be back on Friday with another card but after that I am thinking I will take a bit of a blogging break over Christmas.  I hope your December is going well and is not too crazy busy!

Thanks for stopping by.

Kristy
