I am back with a layout created for Get It Scrapped for the blog article about ‘capturing voice’ on your layout. I tend to be the organiser in my family. One day, my daughter made this comment when we were outside eating a BBQ dinner. She said “Sometimes Mummy it is a bit like you are the Queen and Daddy is your servant.” We all laughed and it has become a bit of a running joke in our family and comes up from time to time. Lucky my husband has a good sense of humour and is well able to stand up for himself if I got too bossy!
To keep the focus on my daughter’s comment and her ‘voice’ I created a long title using different fonts and substituted a stamped image instead of a photo. The image was coloured by painting with distress paints.
If you want more ideas for capturing other people’s voices on your pages, check out the Get It Scrapped article here.
