“Bloom” Card

Hi everyone,

I am back today with a shabby chic style card using the MME Fly a Kite papers, some prima flowers, Dusty attic chipboard and leaf, lace and a dash of gesso.  I designed the card around the sentiment panel that was from one of the patterned papers.  I painted gesso lightly over the flowers, papers and card base.  I applied the gesso more thickly to the Dusty Attic small flourish.  Some gauze, lace and a couple of pearls gave the card a bit more texture and dimension.  I photographed the card with the white card background but in retrospect I think it would look better against a patterned paper background so it stood out a little more.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kristy

      • Hey, I just noticed, you put writing on your pictures (so no one can use them). I’m very new to blogging. Should I do that to my pictures?

      • You don’t have to watermark your images (which is what the writing is) but I do so that if people pin or share your work then people can see the original source of the photo and can come visit your blog if they like your work. I use photoshop elements to do my watermarks but there is probably other software you could use. Hope this helps 🙂
