Today I am sharing a layout created using one of the sketches from the Sketch Library over at Get It Scrapped. This page is about my daughter’s tenth birthday and it was a great sketch for using photographs that are not great quality. The smaller print size means that you don’t notice the lower quality. I really liked this photograph of her blowing out her candles so decided to use the photograph more than once to emphasize the photograph.
To create my page I have used a bunch of Bo Bunny You’re Invited papers and a few embellishments from my stash. I tweaked a few of the elements on the page but it came together quickly. As there was a lot of black in the photographs I made sure the stitching was back and that I inked the papers with black ink to make sure the photographs didn’t look out of place on the page. I plan to make a pocket page to sit beside it, to capture more of the moments of the day.
To see more pages and the original layout the sketch was based on head over to the article at Get It Scrapped. There is a couple of Christmas themed layouts that could inspire you to get your Christmas photographs scrapbooked.
