I am sorting stuff in my new space and making a mess creating projects for the Stefs Papercraft’s October Weekend Workshop. This is the first of the sneak peaks that I will be sharing. If you want more information then head over to the Stefs Papercrafts Blog or Facebook page.
I am looking forward to catching up with the people who have come along before and meeting some new people too.
Bye for now,
I always like to see how others organise their craft supplies, whether they have a whole room or just a bunch of containers that they pull out of a cupboard somewhere when they want to scrap. Most of the time people show their stuff well organised and nice tidy desks. Well that isn’t me at the moment! I do have things basically organised but at the moment I have had 7 different projects on the go (one of them is my half made card!) so I have quite a bit of chaos. Anyways I thought I would stop by to share my messy desk and a sneak peak for the Weekend Workshop coming up in September. September also marks the beginning of spring here too, so hopefully less winter colds and coughs in my little family. Sick kids = less sleep + less crafting time too.
I will be back soon with a layout for Get It Scrapped and then I am sure I will have finished my card! My aim is to get back to more regular blog posts with more cards too.
Thanks for stopping by.
Another super quick post from me today! I haven’t had too much time for making cards or other projects since I have been preparing the make and takes for this weekend’s workshop but things will settle back down into more regular posts next week. I found this card as I was looking at some photos and don’t think I have shared it here. This card uses some gold perfect pearls mist and some vintage papers from the Timeless Collection by Kaisercraft. I also thought I would add in just one of the sneak peaks for the weekend. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
Bye for now,
I have been busy finalising the classes for the Weekend Workshop in April at Southern Stationery. Here is a sneak peak of part of one of the layouts we will be making. If you want to see more sneak peaks you can check out the Stefs Paper Crafts blog.
I can’t believe it will be April next week! Time is just flying this year!
Hope you have a good week leading up to Easter.
Here are some more sneak peaks of some of the projects for the Weekend Workshop in October. These projects have been designed using products so that people can either make them as is or customise them to suit their projects. I have done a couple of examples so don’t be scared off if you don’t love hot pink 🙂 People will have a chance to experiment, have fun playing with the products and I will be able to help out if anyone gets ‘stuck’. If you want further information, you can contact Stef at Southern Stationery.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Two posts from me in one day! I don’t normally post twice in a day but I wanted to show a sneak peak of one of the layouts for the Weekend Workshop in October. We are going to be making layouts in different styles, using a range of different products and hopefully having lots of fun. The food and company were great last time so I am looking forward to October. So here it is. . .
I will be showing more sneak peaks over the next week or so. Thanks for stopping by.
As you may know,if you read my old blog and saw the sneak peeks, or a customer of Southern Stationery, we ran a Weekend workshop (which was a bit similar to a retreat but everyone went home at night time!) on the long weekend at the beginning of June. We received some great feedback from the ladies who participated and everyone seemed to have a great time. For the weekend workshop, we made cards and also scrapbook pages and there was a couple of make and takes (using distress markers and also another on stamping with distress stains), along with a couple of demonstrations on using alcohol inks, and Dylusions spray inks to create a page foundation for scrapbooking. I certainly had fun and it was lovely to meet some new people and catch up with some people I had met before. I thought I would show JUST A FEW of the projects that we did over the weekend but I won’t be posting every project or writing descriptions of how we made them though as it would take too long for just one blog post! If you have questions you can leave me a comment and I will do my best to answer your question.
This is one of the cards from a set of vintage style cards using the Kaisercraft Timeless Collection.
We also made a set of cards using the Kaisercraft Lakehouse Collection which was just released a few days before the workshop.
And this is a layout we made using some beautiful flowers and some gorgeous Prima patterned paper
And lastly a double page layout which also used the Kaisercraft Timeless Collection.
We plan to have another workshop later in the year so look out for further information later on about that from Stef and I will be sure to post about it here.
Thanks for stopping by and a big hello to all the ladies who came along.
